Annual Iona Family Meeting - Sat. 2/7
Join us for a special gathering during dinner to pause together, thank God for the year that has passed, and consider what is ahead for Iona in 2026. Visit this page for more details and important information for Iona members.
WINTER WARMTH DRIVE: Jackets and Blankets Needed
Saint Paul's warming shelter and Iona need your help keeping neighbors warm and safe this winter.
WHAT TO DONATE: Clean jackets (any size) and blankets
HOW TO GIVE:
Bring items to church and leave them downstairs in the fellowship hall
Hang jackets on the rack next to the piano
Place folded blankets underneath the rack
Drop off at Saint Paul's during office hours:
Mondays 9:00 am – noon
Tuesdays 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Wednesdays 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
TWO WAYS YOUR DONATION HELPS:
1) It will serve the immediate needs of Saint Paul's severe weather warming shelter (contact Fr. Mike if interested in serving)
2) Anyone from Iona Community can take a jacket or blanket from the rack to give directly to someone in need
Welcome to Iona Dinner - Sat. 3/7
Fr. Mike hosts a quarterly dinner immediately after worship for those who are new to Iona. This is your chance to connect with our pastor and others who are new to the community, as well as learn more about the church, how you can get involved, and ask any questions that are on your mind (including the hard ones!).
Eating Together
Weekly Fellowship Meals: Join us after service for a shared meal, lovingly prepared by welcoming hosts. Our build-your-own bowls are easy for all ages and nutritional preferences with greens, vegetables, legumes, meats, nuts, cheeses, and more.
Just come! No need to bring anything. Dinner starts 20 minutes after service downstairs, usually at 5:50 pm. We all take turns helping with dishes and cleaning up as able.
Special Feast Days: We celebrate together with potluck-style meals about once per month, built around the rhythms and feasts of the Christian calendar. Click here for detailed Feast Day Menus where you can share what you plan to bring. We look forward to feasting with you on the following dates in 2026:
January 10th | Baptism of our Lord
February 14th | Shrove “Saturday” + St. Valentine
March 14th | St. Patrick’s
April 25th | Good Shepherd & Confirmations with Bishop Jake
May 23rd | Pentecost
June 13th | St. Columba
July 11th | St. Benedict of Nursia (Picnic in the Park)
September 12th | Holy Cross & Blessing of Students
October 3rd | St. Francis & Blessing of the Animals
October 31st | All Saints
December 5th | St. Nicholas of Myra
Hosting Meals: A great way to get to know one another and serve joyfully is hosting one Saturday every two months. Our fellowship meal hosts cook a simple meal on-site for fellowship meal nights. Our feast day hosts set up and clean up for the potluck meals. Learn more through our Hosting Guidebook. Contact Benjamin at to ask questions or join the team!

Every Thursday (7-8 am) — Morning Prayer
All are welcome to join us for the order of Daily Morning Prayer from the Book of Common Prayer. This is a time of confession, praise, scripture reading, reflection, thanksgiving, and petition. We meet at a family’s home.
Monthly
2nd Mondays (5:30-8 pm) — Women’s Group
All women are invited to our monthly potluck dinner, followed by guided conversation tied to the church calendar. We aim to deepen community and cultivate an open space to share about our lives of prayer.
3rd Mondays (5:30-7:30 pm) — Table Groups
At Iona we love to share life together in the goodness of God. We find the foundation of our life together in Christ around His Table every time we gather for Holy Communion, where He is the Host. We then follow His example around our tables as we host one another in the name of Christ and as living members of Christ. Thus, Table Groups are an opportunity for us to participate in Christ’s hospitality and practice the virtue of hospitality.
Table Groups are hosted in homes throughout Clark County either monthly or bi-weekly (on 1st and/or 3rd Mondays) depending on the given group. Each group incorporates three simple elements:
1. Eating Together
We deepen friendships over a communal meal. Often we discuss the passage of Scripture that was preached the prior weekend.
2. Praying Together
We use Evening Prayer or Compline from the Book of Common Prayer. This includes time to pray for each other and our needs.
3. Welcoming Together
Table Groups are geographically based so we can better share life together in the goodness of God where we live. They are one of the ways we practice Christian hospitality by feeding and welcoming friends and neighbors.
